Cleaning Tips and Tricks – Natural Stains

Grass

1.  Sponge with liquid detergent, rinse
2. If stain persists, apply rubbing alcohol, rinse then wash
3. If stain persists, apply mild solution of hydrogen peroxide

Mildew

1. Scrape with fingernail, wash with mild suds, sponge with alcohol, rinse and let dry.
2. or wash in bleach
3. or rub on salt and lemon juice let dry in sun, rinse then dry

Yellowing

1. Soak in 1/2 cup bleach, 1 tablespoon white vinegar in 4 litres warm water, rinse then wash
2. If stain persists, repeat, dry in sun
3. White cotton socks – boil in water with slice of lemon.
